Jack White Wears a Kilt? White Stripes Singer Spotted With Meg at the Citadel in Halifax.

White Stripes lead singer Jack White was spotted at the Halifax Citadel fortress today wearing traditional Scottish garb. White is doing a tour across Canada and is currently stopping in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The White Stripes will be performing at least one inpromptu suprise performance at local bars over the weekend. Jack and Meg White payed a visit to the famous Halifax Citadel, a former British fortress, for the firing of the cannon. Normally the cannon is fired at noon but they made an exception for the Jack and his wife (is she?) and shot the ancient gun at around 2:45pm.
Meg and Jack were clothed in traditional Scottish kilts and stood close to the cannon as it was fired. They then paraded 
around the fortress arm-in-arm, escorted by Scottish bagpipers and drummers. The visit was a surprise and disappointed fans were locked outside the fortress until the ceremony was finished. The couple then snuck away out the back gate. The White Stripes performed shortly afterward at a local bar, the Locas, in downtown Halifax.

Megs his ex wife, they just refer to each other as brother and sister. I think it was to wind up the media at first.

O.K. people, first of all ,you can not beleive everything you read on-line, or in print for that matter(hello?? tabloids!)They make stuff up about celeb’s on paper, why can’t false fact’s be posted on-line? I saw a pic of a “u.f.o.” on-line the other day that was sooo photo shopped it was funny!Fake marriage license and divorce paper’s could have easily been created!I personally think they look too much alike not to be what they are, which is brother and sister!Plus I have concert footage with Jack stating that Meg is his big sister!

Meg isn’t his biological sister. They used to be married but they got a divorce around 1996. He’s married to Karen Elson now. Whenever they say they are “brother and sister” they just mean in terms of closeness.
